Lunch By Libelle is a school food service as part of the Government’s Ka Ora, Ka Ako | Health School Lunches programme. The Lunch by Libelle programme is currently active at over 150 schools. At Tapawera Area School tamariki loves the variety of meals. Whānau enjoy the ‘no stress’ of making school lunches which also helps strict financial budgets for families. Lunches are on a weekly menu which is published on Facebook and skool loop. There are a mix of hot and cold lunches. Tamariki enjoy sitting with their friends and eating their lunches together. Teachers have found it has become beneficial for their social skills too. Also a well fed brain learns better! Happy faces.????
